Last Blockbuster in World Now on Airbnb – 90’s Nostalgia
I Guess I'm Not the Only One Who Misses Blockbuster!
So, 2020 has been a pretty challenging year. COVID-19 mixed with a tense political landscape has left a lot of people yearning for yesteryear. Well, the last Blockbuster in the world, located in Bend, Oregon, has come to the rescue by listing the store on Airbnb!
Locals can rent it out for $4 per night! It is outfitted to look like a retro living room, complete with entertainment center where they can watch any movie in the store. My 90’s nostalgia-meter went through the roof when I saw the news. It was a welcome break from the deluge of depressing articles that we’ve all been trudging through since the beginning of the year.
Important to Remember the Good Times
But, can we truly recapture them? I guess you’d have to rent the space to find out! It’s open just three nights in September and limited to just locals (safety first), but still, I’m happy to see this kind of news.
